We’re looking for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to contribute to the development of automotive and ADAS software platforms.

This role is about developing robust embedded software across different abstraction levels, from hardware-oriented ECU development and bring-up to higher-level processing and algorithmic functions.

You will work closely with hardware, system, safety, algorithm, and validation teams to deliver reliable, real-time, and safety-oriented software solutions for automotive and ADAS applications.

Your Mission

You will be responsible for:

  • Designing, developing, integrating, and maintaining embedded software for automotive and ADAS applications.
  • Leading and contributing to ECU bring-up and hardware/software integration activities.
  • Developing and integrating low-level drivers, embedded platform software, and hardware abstraction components.
  • Supporting the integration of automotive sensors, devices, and related embedded components.
  • Contributing to embedded software architecture, interface definition, and system integration.
  • Developing and optimizing software for real-time and resource-constrained embedded systems.
  • Contributing to signal-processing, data-processing, and algorithmic functions used within ADAS applications.
  • Analyzing and resolving complex hardware/software integration and embedded-system issues.
  • Participating in software verification, integration, debugging, and performance optimization activities.
  • Contributing to the definition and implementation of functional-safety concepts and safety mechanisms.
  • Collaborating closely with system, hardware, safety, algorithm, and validation teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Supporting the development of robust and safety-oriented embedded software solutions for automotive ECUs.

Who You Are

You should have:

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Embedded C/C++ development and embedded software development

  • Solid experience with automotive ECUs, microcontrollers, and embedded systems.
  • Hands-on experience with hardware and ECU bring-up.
  • Experience developing embedded drivers, platform software, or Basic Software components.
  • Good understanding of microcontroller peripherals and embedded communication interfaces.
  • Ability to understand hardware documentation, datasheets, schematics, and technical specifications.
  • Good understanding of automotive software architecture and development processes.
  • Knowledge of functional safety concepts and ISO 26262 principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across hardware, embedded software, system, safety, algorithm, and validation domains.
